I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fancy hotel for a conference. It has a walkway/skyway directly to the huge confererence center. A new gym, an adequate indoor pool. Great room service, the nicest bed one could want and superb staff. Outstanding. It was sad however to see the huge resturaunt near empty most of the time. The... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the hotel. The concierge in the Club room was excellent. Great conversation and great service. The beds were fantastic. We also found the hotel much quieter than other downtown hotels. more

I thought this was a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. Check in was fast. The room was a little small and we had a poor view of the city, however we paid 50 dollars on priceline so it was still well worth the money. I would however recommend asking for a room that faced nicollet ave. We were... more

First impressions were good - nice location on the Mall, smooth valet parking, nice lobby. Check in staff friendly but despite asking for a quiet king room, initially received a double bed room right across the from the elevator. Was moved to another room quickly upon complaining, but no longer had a view of the skyline and was still located... more

As an avid traveler, I've had the opportunity to stay in numerous Hyatt Hotels throughout the world. I am almost always pleased, however the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is truly a disgrace to the brand. Firstly, the Hyatt website clearly states that "Rooms Have Been Recently Renovated." Beyond the addition of the Hyatt Grand Beds, the rooms leave much to be... more

Only stayed here one night but was pleased with the experience. Check in was very smooth and the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. I had requested king-bed, high floor, overlooking downtown after I made the reservation and was given exactly what I requested. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Free daily newspaper every morning... more

Stayed 1 night here on business while traveling through town. Had accounts south and north of town so downtown worked for me (thanks to priceline for substantial savings on the rate). Up side - I just saved a lot on my hotel stay with Priceline Down side - Parking fees, Internet Charges and food costs. Valet parking is $25/night -... more

We stayed at the Hyatt Downtown for a business conference. For a hotel rated as high as it is, it fell very short. The front desk wanted us to use the online computers to check in which made my computer illiterate husband very upset. He went to the counter anyway. The business center was too small, there were waiting lines... more

Had a weekend stay at the Hyatt Regency downtown Minneapolis recently. The rooms were very nice. I just saw a review which said the rooms were not nice--they are bananas! OK, maybe the rooms won’t win an international design award in Milan, but still quite nice. Service was good and friendly. Amenities included both face and bath soaps, q-tips, hair... more

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 5 year anniversary by doing something nice, but not too costly. We already had dinner plans for Fogo de Chao, and wanted to make a night of it by staying downtown. So off to priceline I went. My offer of $51 ($65 including tax and fee) was immediately accepted by the Hyatt.... more
