What a wonderful place. So charming. Great location, right off I91. An Applebees right next door and a host of other restaraunts and stores within walking distance. The rooms were big and clean. All of them had sliding doors with great views. And the staff at the front desk is all attractive, polite and helpful young ladies eager to assist... more

This hotel is absolutely HORRIBLE! Upon arrival we entered the dark and dreary lobby. We were with a group, and one of the last families to arrive. We were assigned room 120. Despite the dark and depressing interior of the lobby, we remained hopeful that our room would be better. We arrived at room 120 to find a significant water... more

The hotel was simple and nice. It had an overall dark feeling to it, and nothing that sticks out in my mind as beautiful. I actually thought it looked dirty and run down from the outside, but it wasnt the case inside. But it served its purpose and I can't complain. I arrived after midnight and left early morning, so... more

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on the night of December 28th, 2007; Rm 154. We made reservations at the inn, because we have a "hobby" of staying at old Howard Johnson's motels. We arrived at the Greenfield Inn On Friday, December 28th at 12:45, way before check in time, were greeted by a nice young woman who... more

This hotel was well worth the money. I paid only $79 for a room with wireless internet, coffee maker, and a great pool view. I had stayed here before, but since my last stay, there have been major improvments. My son realy enjoyed the breakfast. more

We booked the room on line, and arrived to find a smokey, dirty, moldy room in dissarray. We should have left right then, but we wouldn't be spending much time there. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned. Cobwebs, dust, stains on the ceiling, and bugs crawling about. Beyond that there were wires hanging from the ceiling, missing trim fixtures, lightbulbs... more

I've stayed in some aweful places, but this place tops the list. The bed keeps you up all night. It's the worst uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. The bathroom was dirty, and even though we asked about a tub, the drain didn't work. There is nothing on the premises in the winter. There aren't a heck of a lot... more

I think it's self-explanatory from a letter we wrote to The Greenfield Inn after staying there: On October 7th we stayed at Greenfield Inn, room 118. We are very disappointed with the service provided. Here a short list of things out of order: - many electric sockets were not in working condition - we had to try to plug in... more

They have done a TON of upgrading since I was here back in february. They have new beds, carpeting, tables, chairs, and have painted the rooms. Alot of people have complained about this place, but what do really expect to get when your paying under 90 bucks a night? There are no bugs, it's clean and it's quiet. The pool... more

Knowing this place for years I was wonderfully surprised that the Inn seems to have changed hands. The HoJo resturant is now an Applebee's and the Howard Johnson Hotel is now The Greenfield Inn. New beds pillows plus plus plus. Great pool too. more
