Me, my wife and 2 little kids stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last week. We were amazed at how clean the hotel was, and how great the location was. This is probably the 5th time I've stayed here, and have never had any issues. Rooms have always been VERY clean, and a great bay view out my window. more

I have stayed at better HI Expresses. The room had a great water view, but the furntiure was sparse and dated, and the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Not the greatest value for the dollar either. more

Driving from DC to Chincoteague after a transatlantic flight we stayed here for one night. Had read all the reviews and printed a voucher from roomsaver. Got a fantastic king room with water view for $60!. Great local restaurants and breakfast was more than enough. Clean rooms and friendly staff make this a superb all round hotel more

Staff was great, excellent breakfast. Room was spacious and views were amazing. The only issue I have is that the room was a bit musty smelling. It seems that all Holiday Inn Express hotels that I have stayed in near a large body of water have this problem and should know how to fix it. This is a nice hotel... more

We stayed here the first week in June. My firm has a sailing trip each year, so we sailed into the Marina and walked to the hotel (far walk with bags, so I would suggest a taxi). Very inexpensive, very clean, very quiet. Staff was nice enough. Bed was comfy, and shower was hot with good water pressure. I got a waterfront view for $79 a night (off season). There were dozens of various waterfowl just a few feet away; as I drank my morning coffee, there was a heron fishing for his breakfast. Neat. Morning breakfast... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the first time over a weekend in February. We ususally stay at the HI-Express at BWI, but opted for the change of scenery. This place is terrific as HI- Ex's go. A fabulous location. Must be a real treat to stay in the summer. I stayed mid week in the late spring on business travel.
