During the labor day weekend my husband, my 16month old son and I stayed here for 4days/3nights. The room was very nice (I believe they had just did rennovations- there was a flat screen tv in the bedroom and the living room) and clean. I like the separate area for the room/living room and the wetbar area. The hot breakfast... more

Stayed 5 nights, 8/6/08 through 8/10/08, and was very pleased. I am a seasoned business traveler, (this trip was pleasure), and found the Embassy Suites in Portland, ME to be a great value. Recently updated rooms, 1 king bedroom with dresser, closet, flat screen TV and a seperate living room with desk, wet sink, fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV.... more

Located within the grounds of Portland Airport, we booked this hotel incase my daughter's flight was cancelled due to thunderstorms, which so often happens in Portland. Well, she caught her flight, but my 12 year old and I ended up spending the night and we truly enjoyed the hotel. Lovely ambiance, very clean, courteous and helpful staff. We thought the... more

Stayed one night with wife and two children, as we had an early flight the next day. Although certainly not a high end hotel - and I would not recommend it for tourists interested in touring Portland - it was a pleasant, attractive place to stay for a family of four near the airport. We checked in quickly, got a... more

Despite some hiccups due to renovations during my stay from April 28 to May1st, 2008, this is now my new favorite hotel and sets the standard for everywhere else. I got a renovated suite on the 5th floor overlooking the airport, and aside from the occasional bit of noise and new paint smell, it was terrific. The free breakfast was... more

My fiance and I went up to Portland to take in the sights and see a couple of Portland Sea Dog baseball games. The Embassy Suites is located at the airport and is a little out of the way from Hadlock Field and the nightlife in and around Old Port. The hotel is awesome, though. Great food, huge pool &... more

Just stayed 3 nights on business and had a great stay. The 2 rooms are a nice size. There is a sink, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the "living room". There are 2 TV's and a "Nintendo" controller so games can be played (for about $6 per hour). Had a great time at the free Manager's cocktail reception which... more

I've stayed here on business numerous times, and am always impressed by the super-friendly staff at this property. This property has a more intimate feel than most Embassys since it's a different design than the usual. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location can't be beat since it's right on the edge of the (small, quiet) airport. more

My family and I had the pleasure to stay at Embassy Suites Portland on Dec 22. Although we only stayed one night as we were flying to Florida the next day, we had a great experience there. This hotel is a great value for the money spent. My children and I enjoyed the complimentary Manger's reception with free drinks and... more

The Embassy is great because the people are nice, helpful, and willing to accomdate your needs. I love having 2 rooms, it makes longer stays much more tolerable and separates your sleeping area from the living area. The microwave and fridge are musts if you will be staying for more than 1-2 nights. The breakfast is great and the cocktail... more
