We booked a king room and it was superb, service also remains very good. Stayed here last year too and the food remains excellent - must try the made-at-your-table Caesar Salad in the Dining Room restaurant which was excellent. The location can't be faulted either. more

We arrived at Harraseeket Inn just in time for afternoon tea which was absolutely wonderful and plentiful, taken in a large drawing room with the piano playing. This wonderful property is in easy walking distance to shopping in Freeport. The service folks at the front desk, bellman and all staff are well trained, attentive and helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights, in one of the townhouse units in the back. Accomodations were OK - clean, towels OK, beds OK, coffee maker, kitchen unit nicely appointed. Arrived late and did the booking through phone, whitout any information part from the fact that the hotel is listed in the New England book from Eyewitness Travel Guides. We had dinner in the Tavern. Wonderful casual dining, great menu from lobster to burgers, try the cobbler for desert. Great staff, prompt seating and service. Prices not as expensive as you might expect. more

We stayed here for two nights on our way north from Boston, in order to do some shopping in Freeport. Our room, at the front of the hotel, was lovely: big, with a superbly comfortable bed and a separate sitting area with sofa and a fireplace. I have ranked this hotel as above average based solely on the staff. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip to Maine, all of the staff members at the Harraseeket were the best. We selected this inn mainly because it was pet friendly. However, we discovered that the pet friendly rooms were definitely not as nice.... more
