Our 3 nights at Hawk Valley were wonderful, the cottages were clean and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and the morning breakfast was fantastic. We will definately be staying there again. more

Went to Galena and stayed at the Hawk Valley retreat in one of the cottages and it was FANTASTIC! My husband and I (engaged at the time we stayed) could not have asked for a better experience. The innkeepers were friendly, talkative and offered great advice on places to go and dine etc... All the other guests at the time... more

We stayed in the Hillside Cottage and it was perfect! The website photos do not do it justice. It is very spacious and pristine clean and best of all quiet. We do not like bed n' breakfast places that have too much "stuff" which collects dust. This place was wonderful because there weren't any goofy knick knacks in our cottage.... more

Very quite, peaceful, away from the world. ten minute drive to galena. They try to offer anything you would need, and make you feel right at home. I hope to return next year :) more

Hawk Valley Retreat - great place, great inn keeper, peaceful yet there's always something to do if you have the time or the inclination. Highly recommended for those who desire 1st class accomodations. Breakfast is also excellent!! We definitely will be returning for our third trip to this little oasis in the country!! more
