After reading other traveler's reviews, I was really scared of what we might find when we got to this Hampton! But I have to say it was much better than expected. I don't normally like motels --- which to me means doors to rooms directly connected to outside (less secure than inner hallways). And yes, this is an older Hampton.... more

Mmm... I've recently written some really good reviews on Hampton Inns in several locations. I was getting the feeling that the folks over at Hilton Properties were really transforming what I considered (originally) cut-rate hotels into world class business traveler's abodes. However, I think someone must have missed this property. It's obvious, upon check-in, that they are doing construction on... more

We recently spent the night at this property on the way down to Florida and really felt it was a positive experience. We are loyal Hilton Honors members. Yes this property is the old 2 storey motel style with outside corridors but the grounds were well maintained, room immaculately clean, comfortable king size bed with the Hampton bedding. Small bathroom... more

OH MY GOD! THIS IS A OLD ICKY SEEDY MOTEL, NOT A HOTEL; AND DEFINITELY NOT A HAMPTON I am a regular Hampton customer and frequent traveler. This is an old, scary, dirty, small motel with a Hampton sign outside. As one writer says, it must have been an old Motel 6 or something. Exterior access doors; no security; dirty... more

The public area appears to be clean and well kept. I was surprised to see the property has exterior room entrances. The interior of the room needs a significant deep cleaning and update of walls and furniture to replace the peeling wallpaper, stained tub surface, and stained upholstery. The shower room walls are grimy and need attention. It's a good... more

We stayed here on our way to Florida, I have stayed at several Hampton Inns and have always enjoyed staying there. The lobby area was nice and the Front Desk help was very pleasant and helpful. They do not have the indoor hall to enter your room you do this off of the parking lot which isn't that big of... more

My husband I I stayed here on our way to Atlanta. We thought we were in the wrong place. This couldn't be a Hampton Inn. It looked like a motel!! We've stayed at many Hampton Inns throughout the country and none looked like this one. Well we were indeed in the right place! Our room on the second floor (no... more

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn on Gornto Rd. in Valdosta,Ga. (July 2nd,2007) The room was old & small, the furniture showed It's age as well. Mold on the bath room tiles, rust around the inside ring on the toilet, Hairs (many hairs) left in the bottom of the bath tub. This was after it had been cleaned &... more

After fighting torrential rain on I-75 for 2 hours, we decided to stop for the night. I had found this place using the web and marked it as a potential stop depending on where we got tired that night while traveling to Orlando. The staff was friendly, the price was right, the beds were comfy and the room was clean... more

Made a reservation for my recent trip to Disney. I drive late with two small children so always make a reservation. I requested first floor. We arrived around midnight to be told no first floor rooms. So I go to lug the sleeping kids and suitcased up the flight of stairs. I then walk by 6 first floor empty rooms.... more
