The hotels on Tybee are OK but I would recommend a condo. There are rental companies that rent out people's condos for them and they are usually about the same price as a motel room with all the conveniences of home. We have done both and have learned that the condos are the best deal. more

Keep in mind that this is a beach hotel so it is not like staying at the Hyatt..however the rates for the beach are extremely reasonable and the hotel was very pleasant. We booked a couple of rooms for our family of 6 and were unable to make it due to severe weather. We cancelled our reservation more than 24 hours in advance, but less than their crazy 72 hour policy. We also found out that they don't return phone calls. I would not recommend this hotel to any friend or foe. more
