We went to Stateboro for the water park nearby (first timer) at the Splash-In-The-Boro. This hotel is very close to the park. It is clean, beautiful interior design (almost like Martha Steward color schemes), friendly staff, convenient location with lots of local food chain and restaurant nearby and reasonable room rates. I am staying in the Holiday Inn now, and I have been anxiously awaiting its opening. I am a graduate student at Georgia Southern and must travel to Statesboro frequently for weekend classes. The LaQuinta is okay and is a good budget choice, but the state rate at Holiday Inn is only $70, so that's a wonderful bargain for this... more

My son and I stayed at this brand new Holiday Inn in Statesboro University while we attended the SOAR college orientation for GA Southern. The hotel is brand new.
