I cannot stress enough, do not waste your money on this piece of crap motel. I really wish I had shelled out a little more and stayed in the Callaway Lodge on the same site. The Mountain Inn is not an inn at all it's a dirty run down motel plain and simple. I only got a room there because... more

The Mountain Creek Inn is an old Holiday Inn and that is exactly what it appears to be. The rooms are a little musty and outdated. For what it is, it is way overpriced. The new Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens is a much, much nicer place to stay, although it too is overpriced. These rooms are very simple... more

This was a last minute trip and we were thinking this property would be nicer than a chain hotel...we were wrong! 1. Although our particular King room was clean (#600 something) the bottom sheet on the bed was a flat sheet which barely covered the TOP of the mattress...there was no way it could have ever been considered big enough... more

This is where for an extra $30 they allow you to stay with your dog. One of these days they'll understand that we'd like to stay at the lodge and spa with our dog and are willing to pay the same amount of money to do so! Anyway, Mountain Creek should be razed and started over again. It's nasty. They've... more

Stayed for a conference. Old motel style room. Long lines at check in and check out and had trouble with the bill (eventually resolved). I noticed lots of tour busses and various other corporate meetings. I had heard nice things about Callaway Gardens as a whole, but definately would not have spent my own time and $$ to visit here... more

I booked our March 12-14th reservations in Feb. and then remembered to read TripAdvisor comments. They almost scared me/us away. But we went ahead - and were delighted over-all. Right from the start, when we went to check in, we loved the landscaping. We stay at moderately priced places and I can't recall any with equal landscaping. We paid $80/night... more

I just returned from a conference and we stayed at this place. I believe there were around 20 or more of us, no one was happy with this place. The rooms were tiny, mattresses were old, and there were roaches in the room I was in. The food at the on site buffet was only so so, the selection on... more

We just got back from an overnight visit to Callaway Gardens, where we stayed at the Mountain Creek Inn. Our room and the facilities were clean. The linens were clean and not overly worn. The only negative thing was that the view from our room was of a stairway and a brick wall. However, we were only in the room... more

The Mt. Creek Inn is sadly in need of updating AND a thorough cleaning. My husband and I had the unfortunate pleasure of staying in Room 382. We were welcomed upon entering the room by a foul, moldy smell and a room that was so depressing to see that we almost went back to the check-in counter to check-out! The... more

This hotel was totally disgusting!! My wife and I decided to go to Callaway for our first anniversary. When we pulled up it looked like something out of a horror movie. It probablyt hasn't been updated since the 50s. Then, we had to wait 45 minutes in line to check in because they will only start checking people in at... more
