Only stayed for a couple days, but the service was paramount. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one. I stayed at the Tropical Sun Resort recently and have to say it was probably the best value in Siesta Key. While most everything else was overpriced in the area, this hotel was modest, but affordable, clean and friendly. The location can't be beat and the heated pool and shuffleboard courts gave us a lot to do on the cooler... more

Very disappointing. Old facility that has been minimally updated in the past half century. Attempts made to clean by staff, but nothing compensates for decades old beds, plumbing, and peeling paint. There are other places on Siesta.....look elsewhere! more
