We were going to the Red Sox vs Rays baseball game and wanted a hotel that was close to Tropicana Field. This hotel was approx. 1 mile from the field. We walked to and from the field and it wasn't a bad walk and we felt safe. So the location was great. The room was just a basic hotel room.... more

Location Great, no restaurant, no bar, no newspaper all advertised. Internet would not work, frdge/micro not in room as booked. They did try to fix this but moved us to room that had no a/c working. staff tried to be helpful but they need to work on all aspects of service. Hotel is old (which was a draw) not cookie... more

We were forced to stay here for two nights because we booked the hotel through hotwire (which I'll never use again, priceline is much better). I was trying to be optimistic because we had no choice to stay there but there really is no hope for the hotel. My husband who travels often for business stays in countless hotels throughout... more

We stayed at the Heritage, on spec, during a whistle stop tour of the West Coast from Orlando. We loved it, and were surprised to read some of the other comments! We arrived with two extremely overexcited children and were all treated with utmost respect by the cheerful and extremely helpful manager. He explained that there was no food available,... more

I booked this stay directly with the hotel for a one night stay during a major festival. It was my girlfriend's birthday and we wanted to be able to have a great time without having to drive back home across town. I called the hotel the night before our stay to confirm our reservation and was told they did not... more

This hotel is well located for downtown st petersburg, only a few minutes walk from the art museum and the cafes and restaurants of central avenue. It has a rather sad and jaded feel with a dusty verandah and empty entrance lobby. We were well greeted on arrival and the room was ok but the beds are very soft and... more

Lobby looks great and check in guy behind desk was friendly but thats the only positives. The room we had (a suite) was pokey, lots of large dark furniture that was overbearing, the room was dark and needed painting/up dating. Sat on sofa and was convinced I was being bitten by something. Pool is to the side of the hotel... more

The location of the hotel is GREAT - in St Petersburg, only a block from Baywalk. It's obviously an old hotel, and looks charming from the outside and lobby. When I say "old", I do not mean dilapidated - just OLD, like maybe from the 1920s. My first impression was that it appeared to be in good repair, and well-maintained.... more

This was, bar none, the worst hotel in which we have ever stayed. The Super 8 has more cachet. There are no amenities, the staff is completely unhelpful and the rooms are musty and cramped. If you have allergies, you'll wake up with a plugged nose and itchy eyes. They say this hotel dates from the 1920s and I have... more

We booked this hotel because it was where our family was staying for a wedding. When we got there everything seemed to be okay until the air conditioning went out. No accomodation was made and we were given misinformation for the duration of the outage. All of the front desk staff kept saying the repairs would be made at any... more
