The worst part about the Keystone is dealing with the elderly owner, who takes most of the reservations and works the desk usually. Be prepared to repeat yourself at least 3 times! When I originally tried to book a 2 bedroom (they only have 2) in December 2007 for June 2008, I was told it was too early for me... more

My husband and I went to St. Pete Beach for his college buddy's wedding at the Don Cesar. We couldn't afford to stay at the Don so we went with the Keystone Motel because it was on a list of suggestions provided by the bride, it had a pool, and best of all was cheap. The rest of his friends... more

No problems here....we checked in early, had a great time at the pool and the beach. The hotel is next to the best restaurant in Pass A Grille The Hurricane. The best grouper on the beach and not to pricey for what you get. They do have a live band on the weekends but from our room we could not... more

My husband and I just returned from vacation with our 5yr. old grandaughter and we had the best vacation ever. The atmosphere at the Keystone, and the people we met there that had been repeat visitors, far surpassed anything we expected. This is a very old motel but penny for penny you will not find a better place to stay... more

The Keystone made for an AMAZING get away. The hotel is a diamond in the ruff and newly renovated. The people at the hotel are friendly and go out of their way to make the experience nothing but great. I will be back and hopefully sooner than later!! more

Tryed to book 8 rooms for a family reunion 2nd week in September and after several attempts of calling finally a lady answered and said she can't rent to us. Very rude. We booked down the road at Thunderbird Beach Resort - they accepted our money. more

The Keystone Motel has been around for a long time, but it doesn't show. It is located right across the street from the beach, nothing blocking view as there are no hotels directly on the beach....family operated...good location....clean rooms...kind and considerate staff. It was our first time there, but it seemed like most folks had been coming for years. Yes,... more

I went to the Keystone Motel on the recommedation of a friend. I called them weeks before my arrival to book a one night stay. Over the phone they told me that they were slow and didn't have to book and to just show up. When I did this, the lady there was quite rude and said that they dont... more

My husband and I have been traveling to the St Pete Beach area for 25 + years. We have stayed from Clearwater back to Pass-a- Grille Beach. But one thing is certain, we always come back to the Keystone. Its not fancy , you have to get your ice bucket filled from the Restaurant next door. You have your selection... more
