This was our second stay at this hotel in as many years and we are at the present moment making plans to make it three in a row. From the moment we walked into reception to register until we walked out we found that the staff, service, room and other facilities were excellent. Special mention should be made to the... more

Decent hotel. The room and furniture were clean. The beds and pillows were very soft and comfy after a long day of walking and seeing the sights. Yes, the hotel is old, but so is almost every other hotel in St. Augustine. It is the oldest city in the U.S. afterall. Didn't use the pool, but other people seemed to... more

If this were 1970 the place would have been beautiful HOWEVER, this is 2008 and the motel is in disrepair and bug ridden. From the moment upon entering the motel the first thing we were asked is for our ID and that we are not allowed pets. I do not remember a 'Welcome' anywhere in there so that laid the... more

Why do places advertise they are pet friendly, but they are clearly, NOT? Let's start by saying the room was okay. The bed was comfy and the linens were nice, but the bathroom was in need of new fixtures and I kept getting scalding hot water in the middle of my shower. It rained much of the time there, so... more

This was a nice hotel for what we paid for it. Across the street is the beach which was nice but crowded. We ended up going down the national park when we wanted to go the beach. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, what else could you ask for? more

Within walking distance of some good restaurants and sightseeing, right in the historic district. The beds were comfortable but the carpet really needed cleaning. If you don't like noise don't get a room near the pool, althought they do have a quite time after 10:00 p.m. Price was right, $67.00 a night, I would stay again. Nice pool and large hot... more

We pulled in here thinking that it would be an okay place to stay. I'm aware that it is a 2 star hotel.....that does not make up for the fact that it was totally filthy. It was very dingy inside, poor lighting, a stench of dirty carpeting & holes in the blinds. Immediately after entering the room I wanted to... more

We stayed two nights at the Ramada Inn in the historic section of St. Augustine, FL. Our room was on the fifth floor, and we enjoyed a quiet night's rest both nights. The room was clean. The price was average (about $100 per night) for the holiday week. We enjoyed being within walking distance of shops, restaurants and night life.... more

This is a hotel with lovely staff and good service. The staff was very helpful all the time. The rooms are recently renovated and the furniture was new. Very comfortable beds! The rooms were very well cleaned. The hotel was located near downtown and it was a lovely walk to get there. The hotel is easy to find and it´s... more

They NEVER cleaned our rooms, which needed it! Location is not great - it's not close to downtown - about a 20 minute walk. Everywhere in this town is too expensive for what it is - so book this place if you want somewhere to sleep only - GREAT beds but that's all. more
