The Wyndham Santa Barbara reopened in January 2008 after being closed for more than two years due to damage from a hurricane in 2005. This Fairfield (Cendant) Timeshare resort has some of the best kept rooms and apartments in the area, like its sister resort, the Royal Vista, across the street. When we were there it was clean, fresh, and appeared to have a new kitchen....as well as newish appliances. Resort not, but otherwise a nice place and a deal at that. Our 1 bedroom was huge and had wrap around terrace on the top floor over the inter-coastal and opposite view of the Atlantic.
