Arrived with my daughter and checked out within the hour. The wooden chairs around the pool and outside of our room had rusted nails sticking out 1 inch in various places on each of them. The room itself was tiny, window air conditioner very loud, and ceiling above the airconditioner peeling and falling down. The ledge under the entrance door... more

Quick take - The primary business purpose of this property appears to be wedding receptions. People looking for a traditional B&B will be disappointed, especially with the breakfast. Out of state visitors primarily interested in visiting theme parks should look elsewhere. People looking to experience downtown old Orlando as a “local” for a short stay may find it of interest.... more

The hotel is really nice with a very peacefull atmosphere. It is like a small village with independant cottages. The style, decoration and location are wonderfull. Walking distance to restaurants and bars, and a nice staff. A very good choice for people who want something different than the hotel chain for a very good value. more

If you have any other choice in accomodations, take it! We stayed in this establishment on New Years Eve. Nice little neighborhood but the compliments end there. A discussion with another guest indicated that our opinion was shared. This is a $75.00 per night B&B, not a $250 and up. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms are mildewy, and the... more

This was the worst place that I have ever stayed. My wife and I were planning on staying for two nights following our wedding. However, we found this place to be horrible, and left after one very short night. There were several problems with the room we stayed at (the Erte). The first was that we felt that anyone walking... more

We loved staying at the Veranda. John the property manager was so kind and helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The surrounding area was so quaint and charming. There are great restaurants right across the street and the lake is 1 block away perfect for jogging and walking. We would definitely stay there again. more

We loved the Veranda B&B. The innkeeper Jon was absolutely the best. He took care of any of our questions. He typed out directions for us to our destinations. He had his eye on the entire property and was quick to offer us towels at the pool or extra juice at breakfast. The property is in downtown Orlando and we... more

The Veranda was great. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the room was impeccably decorated. Everything was way beyond clean. I was in The Key Lime Junior Suite which is the smallest suite they have (I think). The front desk was very accomodating with my late arrival and even had the light and air on for me when I got... more

My husband & I stayed in the Victorian room while at this b & b on Feb 16, 17 & 18. The good points (1) A bit of an oasis in the center of a very busy city. (2) Conveniently located near very pretty Lake Eola; a convenience store and several nice coffee shops and restaurants. (3) Our room featured... more
