My family and I have stayed at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa about 8/9 times. For people that understand the Orlando Vacation area this resort is a fabulous location. Built on the shores of a lake about 1 mile long nealry 1/2 mile wide. It provides a tranquil setting albeit just off the I4 . The site has seven warm... more

We stayed at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa weekend of 10/26-10/28. I bought a package with a tour. The people at check in were great. The building we stayed in was the 500 building. When we got to our room the front door looked as if it had been broken into before. The wood was cracked all around the lock.... more

You can see why they call it the Sunshine State! We stayed at Westgate Lakes for 10 days and had glorious sunshine except for one day when it rained all day which was a blessing. We were put in a 1 bed studio which was very clean but also had the ability to sleep another two people on the sofa... more

A great place to stay for a family or young couple looking for a good price. my fiance and I stayed here for a week last December (booking through expedia) and for flight and 6 nights stay it was only $480 each! There's a store on site and a Pizza Hut, but both are very pricey. The first day we... more

This was the first REAL vacation for my husband and I and we were really looking forward to it. On the all we had a good time but we did have some problems but were treated promptly and more then fairly. We stayed in one of the newest units and were very comfortable. We must have hit the season just... more

I stayed at the Westgate for two weeks in July 2008 with my twin girls, age 15. We were in a two bedroom condo, Building Q. Check-in was good - we were lucky, only two people in front of us so the wait was about 15 min. After booking the room, you are sent to another counter to immediately book... more

We had the misfortune of arriving during the week of Hurricane Fay. It's a good thing we were there for two weeks. Because we could not venture out to the various outdoor attractions during the first week, we stayed inside the unit and enjoyed our time by watching television, dvds, playing games and going out to eat and shopping during... more

Another fab family holiday to Orlando. This is the fourth time we have stayed with Westgate Lakes. Fantastic location close to all the major attractions. Unfortunately caught the spring breakers! The pool was full of teenage children which meant lots of late night noise. On this occasion the staff were not particulary helpful. The rooms and very large with lots... more

-Terrible Customer Service -RUDE Staff and Sales People -Pushy Sales People--During Check in, they make random calls to the room, leave notes on the door, trick you into coming to a "complimentary" breakfast, where they try to Sales Pitch you to DEATH--when you tell them you are not interested, the become even more pushy and then down right disgusting and... more

Way too pushy on timesharing, way too crowded. Pool water was gross at times, hair floating, hair extensions on ground. No where to park after 9:00pm. I would NEVER stay at this place again let alone buy into this trap. Do yourselves a favor and stay somewhere else. more
