I recently stayed at The Wave in July 08 after ending a 7 day cruise. Our group was booked at The Wave through our travel agent. Upon arrival, the rooms were not ready for check-in and once they were ready the entire reservation was screwed up. All of our rooms were held with king beds,which is not what we requested.... more

The Wave Hotel is an exceptional value! Located on Ocean Ave between 3rd and 4th Streets, only a 5 min walk to the beach. Attractive rooms, excellent free continental breakfast. If you are looking for dirty rooms, non-english speaking staff, and views of low income housing this is your spot. The windows in the rooms were so dirty that you couldn't even see out of them, we were on the first floor and one of our windows didn't even lock.
