We loved this place... I can not believe anyone would write a negatitive review!! The grounds are beautiful... The rooms are clean, and the managers are very nice...We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit, and found it comfortable for all 6 of us. In all honesty, this is probably the worst hotel (although more like a trailor) in my experience. The management is terrible to say the least. As unfriendly as they come. We just returned from a July 4 longweek at the beach at the Sandpiper Inn. This is our favorite place to stay on the Gulf of Mexico and is the only beach and location my husband and I will even consider. I would adamantly discourage anyone from staying at the Sandpiper Inn in Longboat Key, Florida. A beautiful beach and a quaint enough place, this resort is managed by two individuals who, regularly violate all hospitality principles ever created.
