My husband & I had the best 5 day stay. Rooms were comfortable & clean. This place is best if you are looking for sheer relaxation!!! The staff could not do enough for us & the views are incredible. We stayed at Rainbow Bend in January 2008. We were quite disappointed in the facility. We paid $250.00 per night (including their mandatory 15% gratuity and state sales tax) and expected a more upscale room. Yes it is an older place, but with charm, warmth and good ole' "down home feeling". We went there on our honeymoon. Got a room with the in room jaccuzi. Used the kitchen made dinner everynight. Staff freindly, helpful. Great Breakfasts (included). Fishing was great, swimming was great. Plan to go back every year for our anniversaries. Cant say enough... more
