I booked this hotel through Hotwire and was told this is a 3 star! It was far from it.Stairs, floors are all very dirty. The room and restroom were decent but it is a far from being a 3 star hotel. And to add to it the staff were EXTREMELY unfriendly and rude. Avoid at all costs! more

This place was nasty. It doesn't even deserve one star. Is AAA crazy. I don't know why Holiday inn even has this hotel in their chain. I stayed May 5th-7th. From the second I pulled up, I was thinking what the h*** did I book? The hotel was gross. I asked for a first floor non smoking room and they... more

As a constant traveller, I see about 3 new hotels a month, minimum. Therefore I decided to entrust my stay in a chain that generally provides me with top notch quality and attention to detail. Sadly, this was the worst that I have been to thus far. The bed was uncomfortable, the television very small, the celing was stained, and... more

We booked 3 rooms in June for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. I was worried after reading the reviews and nearly tried to just get another hotel booked. The check in was smooth and we got rooms all next to each other. I wish they had king beds....we all had 2 doubles. The rooms looked nice/updated and clean for... more

Check in was fast and efficient. We got a room on top level on the street site (US1) so it was a bit noisy in the morning hours. The room was clean and OK. You drive about 15 minutes to Duval street as the hotel is located on the "beginning" of Key West. more

We stayed one night on June 1, 2007. Our room had a definite moisture problem. There was a strong, musty odor; the molding in the bathroom doorway was disintegrating; and we were told there was no vacancy, so we couldn't get a different room. Housekeeping responded quickly with a spray, but that was very strong as well and we kept... more

We got this room on Priceline for $120. This is one of the first hotels you see when you drive into Key West. Very far from Duval and all the other touristy things. Be prepared to pay a lot for taxis if you stay here your entire trip. It's $15 each way to Duval, so you're better off just paying... more

The outside of the hotel does not look very nice at all but the inside of the rooms were renovated looked nice, new and well decorated. The location is on the very beginning of the island opposite from duval street and where most of the dining and entertainment is so you either have to drive and pay for parking or... more

I decided about Holiday Inn after reading the feedbacks provided by other Tripadvisor members, and that's why I'm reporting my own review here. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience there, considering the high rates applied combined with bad services, localization and terrible hotel conditions - the hotel has a new building (that is presented in the photos) but if... more

Good place for the price. Just back from 4 nights, and for the price we were very happy. rooms were nice, pool was good, service was good, people were nice. noisy but we paid about 1/2 the price as we would have paid in old town. Can't do much about the construction across the street. great time for the period... more
