The La Quinta sits on US41, about 4 miles south of Fort Myers. It's a bog-standard motel - comfortable bed, good shower, reasonable pool but with scruffy furniture, carb-heavy breakfast in cramped surroundings, and some night-time noise. It shares a parking lot with Mel's Diner. One night was fine, but two would have been one too many. more

We stayed two nights at the La Quinta on Cleveland Ave in Ft. Meyer’s Fl. In early Dec. 2006. It’s an older property and was recently a Best Western.
