After having reservations for over 3 months for a 2 bedroom suite, we got there and they told us that they overbook and do not have a room for us and that was a day after they called and asked if we needed anything when we got there. No appology, just a letter to another hotel they booked us at.... more

I just returned from the Daytona Beach Regency today after staying 7 days and 6 nights. Let me just say that this vacation was so much fun with a mix of relaxing, sightseeing and hanging at the bar. I was able to find a great deal on this resort through Ebay and booked it for a long awaited vacation for... more

We stayed here April 5 -11,2008. Very nice rooms. Directly on the beach where there is no driving which was nice to not have to worry about that with our kids. Pool was very nice and warm and our kids loved the water slide. Not too crowded which was nice also. Our room was in good shape and not outdated.... more

We are 2 experienced Sunterra T.S. owners who traded for a week at this Resort. Feb 1 thru Feb 8. In the Time share world we have found Sunterra properties tend to be a more reliable choice. Excellent view and right on the beach. Single bedroom unit was spacious and clean but showed its age. Kitchen adaquate ,Plenty of towels... more

The Regency was more than we expected. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The place was very clean. We had some bird droppings on your two balconies but they were cleaned without hesitation and we could call them again if needed. We had a one bedroom with a north and south view on the city side. We loved... more

Just returned from holiday travels that included a stay at Daytona Beach Regency. I wish that there was a rating between "Terrible" and "OK with some problems"- that would be the best fit. We are Sunterra owners, but have never been to this location. Our evening arrival was a bit unnerving as the area around the hotel and parking lot... more

Loved it!! Loved it! Loved it! I was small and cozy compared to the bustling resort next door, but we had the place pretty much at peace and not to crowded. The room was huge for a 1 bedroom and we all fit (5 of us) and we had 2 balcony's with a partial ocean view and a view of... more

When I checked into my room, there was a burn mark in the carpet. This did not bother me very much, as I was planning on spending most of the time on the beach with my family. However, when I got home from my trip, I noticed an extra $575 charge on my credit card from the hotel. I called... more
