Just got back from 4 nights at this hotel.. It was clean, quiet, had a nice kitchen, ceramic tile throughout, small but adequate pool for kids, central air. If you're looking for a good value and a clean, comfortable place to stay you've found it! Close to beach and shopping. Would definitely return. more

Overall my stay was wonderful. This motel is nice, clean, quiet, and is very good to stay at when staying over 2-3 days. It is like an apartment. Instead of spending more money to stay at a hotel with a small fridge and nothing much, this motel offers a small living room, full kitchen with a small dining room table... more

We read the "rather loose a toe" review just before we arrived at the Castaways Motel, so we were nervous about our stay there. We asked the owner, Robert, if we could pay for one night (our reservation was for 5 nights) and see if we wanted to stay longer. When he heard our concerns, he wouldn't take any money... more

The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. Our room/apartment was very nice, clean, had central-air and ceramic floors. We enjoyed fishing of the dock, in a quiet location off the beaten path, yet close enough (within walking distance) to most attractions. We will be returning next year. more

I chose to go to this motel at the advise of another booked hotel in clearwater beach but was VERY disappointed with this hotel. We brought our 11 month old daughter and the trip was a disaster. The hotel suurounded by construction on all 3 sides, so we were greeted by construction workers at 7 am every morning. ugh! the... more
