Doubletree's big thing is that they are an all-suite hotel. This is true in that there is a door between a sitting room and a couch but do NOT mistake this for a luxury hotel. It is filthy, filthy, filthy (and also tiny). As to the cleanliness aspect, the lobby looked fine, but the room appeared dingy from when we... more

This hotel is not nearly as bad as stated. They are doing renovations, but some rooms are done. Those rooms are very nice and up to standard for a 3 star hotel. They are comparable to a Sheraton, Embassy Suites, or Marriott room. I was thinking of canceling before I got here because of the reviews, but I assure you... more

Drove down from Orlando for the FHSAA Cheer Competetion and was told we could check in @ 2:00 - never happened we had to wait until 3. I booked a room with 2 double beds, ended up with a King size one and was told I couldn't change it. Some rooms were musty smelling where others were not. The bathroom... more

I stayed here for four nights. When I checked in, I had to ask for my room key after the guy said I was all set, he had it sitting behind the counter and forgot to give it to me. Same with my credit card. About an hour into my stay, the front desk lady calls to see how I... more

Spent three days at a conference hosted in the hotel. The actual amenities were fine - rooms were nice, pool was well attended, the conference rooms were typical. My only beef is the staff. Generally speaking they were unfriendly, unhelpful, and hardly professional (though there was at least one front desk gentleman that was most courteous). Internet access is slow... more

We stayed here in Feb 2007 and were very happy. We came back in 2008, but didn't have the same experience. First we found that the "living room" didn't have a tv. We asked about that, and were told that several suites had been renovated and the renovated suites had the 2nd tvs removed - there was only one in... more

My family and I were booked at the Doubletree Suites at Boca Raton originally for 4 nights. That turned into only 1 night. Right from the get-go we were not happy with the hotel. The room was very dingy and old looking. The bathroom was the size of a broom closet. You could barely shut the door while sitting on... more

Thought the place was great. Location right off I-95. Very convenient. The staff was great and was able to help me with computer. Got a cookie every night. Only thing was the "bathroom". Never have seen anything so small. I think Tiny is a better word. Got hotel from priceline and price was half what our friends were paying at... more

I stayed here this week for one night on a business trip to Boca Raton. Picked this property because of the competitive price - there are 4 or 5 other hotels very close by - an Embassy Suites across the street, and a couple of newer Marriott properties within walking distance - they looked to be fairly new. The room... more

We stayed at the Doubletree in Boca Raton the night before we left for our cruise, from Miami. It was an easy drive from Ft Lauderdale airport. The hotel is under construction, although that didn't interfere with our stay. The new rooms will be beautiful. The room was a typical hotel room, seemed to be clean. The pool was nice... more
