My family and I stayed overnight at the Ramada Newark Delaware in September 2008. The front desk staff was quite pleasant upon our arrival, and our check out was extremely easy, just with a phone call to the front desk. Our room was comfortable, extremely clean, and quite spacious. The queen size beds were a welcome treat! We would not... more

Pros - clean bedding, Refrigerator and microwave in room, quiet room, bathroom clean but on the older side. All staff very very nice and personable. Breakfast - had a large assortment of danish, bagels, cereal, etc. Cons - smells like an old bowling alley. Couldn't get over it. The entire hotel just smells. It is a non-smoking hotel, so the... more

There was renovations going on during my stay, and since they are trying to improve the place, I won't ding them on that. The place was o.k., but seemed to be simply a room with a bed and television. Suprisingly to me, the on-premisis restaurant is closed on Mondays. There was no business center either. Fortunately, there are lots of... more

This hotel has completely renovated it's rooms. They are new bright comfortable and the pillowtop mattress rivals any Hilton/Marriott brand. They have a winter special of $89. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff was very nice. Attached pictures of this hotel. Give it a break it is GREAT!! more

This was known as the "Delaware Inn and Conference Center" when I stayed there. The rooms have recently been renovated. The look is retro 60s/70s -- kind of a neat throw-back but close to looking a little too retro . . . The beds were comfortable enough. The price was okay ($66/night). There was hi-speed internet, though not wireless. They... more

This Best Western needs a lot of renovating in their rooms. The renovations are underway in the restaurant which has very good italian food, we were pleasantly surprised as it was so quiet. But the overall appearance of the hotel makes it look dirty even tho it isn't. Plus to this hotel is the closeness to 95 and the desk... more

We recently stayed here because if was one of the few hotels close to longwood gardens that accepted dogs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room could use some updating but was very clean. They are adding a new section to the hotel and so construction was going on by the pool. What we liked about the room was... more

Stayed here one night, but won't again. You get what you pay for, which isn't much except traffic noise. Continental breakfast made me wonder what diseases the previous patrons had deposited on the "bucket-o-cream cheese" knife. more
