From the time I entered the driveway and saw the pool liner ripped and hose and pipe lying in the driveway, I knew this might not be the place. My room , on the right side as you come in the drive was suppose to be a non-smoking. HA ! Whatever they sprayed in the room to mask the smell... more

I was a liitle nervous having read the other reviews on Trip Advisor but Sharon Motor Lodge was the most affordable accomodation in the area. The room was fine, everything was clean. The added bonus was the very accomodating owners who shuttled my friends and I around the area without charge. Afer I finally did use a local cab company... more

After reading the other reviews, I was angry to learn that we paid $168 for a night in what should have been a $50 a night room. This is quite possibly the most beautiful landscape of a motel I have ever stayed in. The fields in the back and the stream in the front were very peaceful and I love how it is set very far back from the road. This motel is within a few miles of Lime Rock Park. It's one of only 3 or so choices when staying in the area for a track event. Normally, I would not stay in a motel of this quality (bare bones), but since I was only looking for a place to sleep, it worked out just fine. I would not... more
