No problems here with a good clean, well equipped room which looked like it had been refurbished recently. Reception very friendly and gave us a room away from the road just in case we were light sleepers. Reasonable complimentary cold breakfast, and it was good to have tea and coffee always available in the lobby. more

This is a Super 8, that said a basic accommodation establishment with coffee & bagels, etc for breakfast. With that considered, I found my stay to be very satisfactory. I stayed a saturday night, as its location relative to Joshua Tree National Park is good. It's location in Yucca Valley is excellent with a number of resturants, stores, etc nearby.... more

The location is great because it is a short drive to the park entrance. There are also some nearby fast food places to eat and even a Walmart (I dont have one near me in LA). That being said, the walls are paper thin and we could hear footsteps of the guests staying the the room above us. The footsteps... more

Stayed two nights during Easter Weekend. Room was one of two K,D suites. Room was spacious. It included both fridge and microwave. Room also included couch and lounge chair. Breakfast was typical for Super 8--Milk, juice, cereal, muffins, danish and bagels, as well as fruit. Rate was $89/nt with senior discount($99 otherwise). Ideal, centralized location for those staying in the... more

OK, those looking for a place to sleep and park some gear during day-trips in the park should look no further. Many properties in the area, and they seem to be either very costly or "Super 8 cheap". As a chain, Super 8 has some minimum standards which it must maintain (most of the time) - I was there during... more

Travelling from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, we thought this would be a nice stay for one night, but it turned out to be the worst hotel experience of our entire 15 days visit in the US. The hotel surrondings are scary when travelling with a family. The staff was friendly, but when we were offered a dip in the... more

1st floor soda machine not working, vending machine doesnt look like its been checked in forever. Air Conditioning doesnt work in room, Door key lock in-operable and they still rent the room even know they know about it. Faucet in sink leaks all over the place, staff hangs out in an empty room watching television. Room poorly cleaned. Very dissapointing... more

Great little super 8 - great location for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Breakfast was better than most hotels of a similar standard that I stayed at during my trip to California. Rooms were clean. And cheap. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. more

There are really no other name brand hotels around this area - so if you're here for business - I'm sorry for you. Perhaps you should consider a longer commute to your client because this establishment is depressing. If you are wondering to yourself, "how bad can it be?", keep wondering and stay somewhere else. I've already had to call... more
