Lisa, the Richardson House's new innkeeper, was a joy. We loved to hang out after a day of adventure in the Sierra. Great beds, good breakfast, perfect for a kicked back stay after exploring Tahoe. more

Loved the Inn. Had a wonderful romantic evening. Gourmet meal of rack of lamb & strawberry tourt. Scrumptious! The Innkeeper, excentric! Halarious and made the stay more than worth while. Didn't realize how really intellegent she was until breakfast. And by the way that stuffed french toast (atkins friendly and diabetic friendly) WOW! Will do this again very soon. Thanks... more

After a exhausting day of skiing, we reached Richardson House, where my Husband & I had made reservation for one night on the 24th of Jan' 04 in Aunt Klara's room. The inn keeper said she had no reservation under our name and said she was fully booked for the night. She also sent us off on a wild goose... more

Stumbled upon the Richardson House B&B located up above old town Truckee. Great location to walk to town for dinner or shopping. Rooms are all unique, loved breakfast. Look for frequent specials. more

Got a last-minute room during ski season for only $100! A block above the main street in Truckee, Richardson House was ideally located for skiing at NorthStar and Sugarbowl.
