For the price, this is a very good motel. Arriving by motorcycle on a 100-degree afternoon, I was ready for a cool, clean room and a cool, clean pool - and I got both. It's not the motel's fault I was too tired to get back on the bike and drive to a restaurant - but there sure aren't many... more

Attended a 7 day conference in Redding and this is a gem of a find. Made all the difference to our travel experience. The hotel is clean, on par with international hotel standards, the bathroom is of adequate size. The frontdesk is always helpful with directions to the nearest places of interest and brings a warmth to the place. Everything... more

My wife & I stayed here for one night during our recent driving holiday in California. We had not booked anywhere and found the Travelodge almost by accident. I am glad we did, the rooms were good, very clean, good size and the front desk were very helpful, cheerful, and their restaurant suggestions were spot on. We ate in the... more

This is the first time I have liked a hotel so much I would write a review. I've stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to stay here every time I travel to Redding. The staff has always been really wonderful and the rooms are a really good size. Having a refrigerator is also really helpful. But my... more

I travel on somewhat of a budget, and seeing as how the price was right and seeing some pretty good reviews here I decided to give this place a shot. I regret ever staying here. First, the place is a pain to find. It took me a while to finally find it, and the person who answered their phone didn't... more

We're sorry to read in print what the guest hadn't shared with us directly while here. We have a resident manager and a full time assistant and we have empowered the front desk staff to assist our guests with whatever options available to us. Our directions are listed in detail on our webpage and the front desk staff is fully...

Misrepresented the 5 rooms that we had reserved and pre-paid for (there was only one bed; we were told we could upgrade for $10 and add a queen bed upon arrival and those rooms would be available for us; confirmed with hotel staff directly) and upon arrival they wanted to charge us $10 for a rollaway cot that they said... more

This was a Priceline reservation. After this and other reservations like this we have ceased doing business with Priceline as a third party seller of our rooms. Had we sold this reservation we would have sold the guest two beds for up to 4 people per room. They bid on a "double occupancy" room, one bed - for two people....

Exceptionally clean, most anxious to please. Kevin at the front desk makes all the difference. He bends over backwards to make your stay a pleasant one. more

We stayed here for one night on the way back up to Vancouver, BC, from southern California. The night before we stayed at the Ramada Suites Bakersfield, CA, and the night after at the Holiday Inn Express in Portland, OR. We paid the same rate at the Travelodge in Redding as the other two hotels but felt we received a... more

We love having guests from B.C. Often like these guests people think that all Travelodge's are the same, they are not. Though we're in the economy sector of the industry, we are a better than average Travelodge. Prices are dictated by the local market. Within our market I would say that we are the best value for the dollar. We...
