On the surface, Motel 6 seemed acceptable enough. The location is convenient, the motel is positioned at the major exit to the town and there are many amenities nearby, restaurants, petrol stations, etc. The room was very small but that is no great complaint. We frequently travel from LA to San Jose and find that Paso Robles is a great "half-way" stop. The staff is efficient, the rooms are clean but small, and the price is around $50 per night. It's near the freeway exit (but not too loud) and right next to fast food and gas for a quick morning get-away. more
