I travelled to Palm Springs to attend a wedding at the Ingleside Inn - it was beautiful in the small courtyard with fountain. Fortunately I decided to book a few extra days. The 30 room resort was built in the 20's on a 2 acre former estate. Most of the staff has worked at the Inn for over 20 years.... more

this tiny hotel is attached to Melvyn's dining room where there's live entertainment every night and the maitre'd knows your name - whether you've been coming every year for 40 years like the couple at the next table over or you just arrived, like me. more for the quiet and mature crowd than the partyin', stylin' crowd. though if you're... more

We have stayed at the Ingleside many times over the past 15 years. It is always exceptional, we would never consider staying anywhere else in Palm Springs. From the unique and comfortable rooms to the beautiful grounds to the great restaurant and bar it is truly a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. Brian Ellis, the Maitre'd at Melvyns will... more

I had reservations to stay at the T.V. reknown Parker Inn. All I have to say is what a joke. the service was so bad we left after the first night. I call my AAA club and they refered me to the Ingleside Inn. GREAT MOVE. the service was great. they treated us like a celeberty. we were so pampered... more

My sisters and I stayed here for three days in March 08. We were not sure what to expect and if such a small hotel (30 + rooms) would offer the facilities we are used to in a bigger place, but, in our opinion the place was perfect. I had arranged the trip direct with the hotel and from first... more

We stayed for four nights in March during the tennis tournament. I agree with the positive reviews. The place is a gem. It is clearly on the other end of the spectrum from the new mega resorts so if you like new and loud, this is not for you. Almost all the rooms are different. We had a two room... more

Wow, this place is a gem. Old style glamor, with a history that money can't buy. Breakfast on the ancient vine covered porch, perfectly quiet, luxurious, and lovely. The palm tree surrounded pool is awesome- bring your Jackie O sunglasses. If you're looking for new and modern, stay away... you won't appreciate this place. I got the best rate by... more

It was fantastic! As if I was one of the Famous Stars that have stayed there. It is old Hollywood in the midst of Desert Luxury. The staff are down right charming. My room was fresh and the furnishings rich. The pool area was fun and welcoming. When I come back to Palm Springs, there is no question where I... more

The Ingleside Inn is reflective of another era, one of worship of celebrity, and unfortunately has not been updated to reflect the standards of today's exclusive luxury hotels. The property is quite lovely, like a movie set for some 1930's era romance, but that's where it ends. Maintaining an old historic property like this is very expensive and labor intensive,... more

I begin by stating that my husband and I are frequent "Hoteler's" and have become quite picky. when you drive up to the Ingleside you are impressed. The enterance is lovely and the grounds are impecable. Upon check in Karen, who has got to be the most customer serive oriented person we have ever met, made sure we were settled... more
