I live on the other side of the bay from the Queen Mary and wake up to her glory every morning. One day, in late July I decided that I was going to go have a week long get away on the ship I look at every day. Now, first off, I have lived in long beach for nearly 5... more

We really only stayed here because we needed a stop over in LA and thought it would be a bit different. The hotel was ok, the rooms are tiny but we were staying in the Queen Mary so knew that already. We arrived late so no where was open to eat. The next day, there wasn't much on or any... more

I can highly recommend the Queen Mary for a 1 night stopover. We arrived at 4pm and left the next day at 11.30am which was enough to see all parts of the ship. The rooms are a little basic but actually bigger than I was expecting. It was great to explore the ship when the day visitors had gone and... more

My husband got the romance package for us and an extra room for my children to stay with their aunt. What fun! There is so much history there, and I enjoyed wondering who had stayed in our room. Our room was quiet and dark at night, which was good for sleeping. (There was one guest who slammed a door in... more

We slept one night on the Queen, just for the fun of it. We had a good size room with a second bedroom for our teenager. We had the run of the boat and enjoyed exploring. This is an old boat and as long as you arent expecting 2008 5stars you will be fine. We enjoyed a drink in the... more

The Queen Mary looked beautiful from about a mile away on the freeway, but on a closer look from the parking lot, she no longer looked so nice. The lobby is small and appeared to be dirty, and there was not an abundance of guests, which is usually not a good sign. Our room was small and it was unclean.... more

We stayed in a King Deluxe room on the Queen Mary. Although some might look around and see "old and faded" we, on the other hand, looked around and saw history. We tried to imagine what it was like to cruise the ship during her hey-day. Unfortunately, It seems as if there isn't much regard to guests' comforts outside their... more

We were looking forward to our stay on this historical ship. It did not disappoint us at all. The ship itself is a floating museum and the staff that work there had to have been the most personable people I've encountered on a vacation. We stayed in a state room which was nice. Unless you're going to be spending a... more

Staying on the Queen Mary was such a fun experience and so much better than just staying at any other regular hotel! We had read some bad reviews about the ship, but I'm glad we didn't listen to them. My boyfriend and I stayed on the Queen Mary for 4 nights in an Inside Stateroom. It was very clean and... more

Ok so I must admit I actually really like staying in older places with personality. I had never stayed at the Queen Mary Hotel before, and probably wouldn't have had I not missed the last boat out to Catalina. I was bummed to have missed my boat, but thanks to hir website and my iPhone I had a place to... more
