I traveled to Irvine for business on weekdays for about 3 months and stayed at this hotel during that time. This property is very much in a higher class of hotels, service is very good. The room has a high quality feel, all amenities are newer and modern. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are of high thread... more

My husband and I stayed here two nights to get together with friends in Newport. We got a very good price on Priceline--so good, in fact, that I don't like to say anything negative. But we were waked up twice in the middle of the night by loud (obviously inebriated) people in the corridor outside our room. We don't expect... more

I placed a bid on Priceline and received this hotel. It was a typical Marriott. The room was nice as was the bed. The location is great. the breakfast buffet was good and reasonable. I liked their workout room and it had a nice pool that semed to get a lot of use. I had no problems with this hotel... more

spent two nights there to visit the scottish festival in costa mesa...best part -- the linens --- fabulous. hotel is upscale, nice...but the freeway noise, and the air conditioner going on and off...were a bit off-putting. rate, $127, was reasonable. small, yet ample room size. no refrigerator...no safe...HD TV....costly parking and wi-fi... more

This was our second weekend stay at this hotel. This stay was even better than the first. We booked this hotel through a Priceline bid, and felt we got more than fair value for it. The room wasn't spacious, but it wasn't small either. The service from the staff was exemplary. This hotel is a little out of the way... more

Stayed here for a conference in February 2008 and was really pleased. My room was very nice, clean and very functional. Even though the location is right next to the freeway, there was not much noise in the room. The bed was THE most comfortable I've ever slept in! The meeting facilities were comfortable and very well organized. I ordered... more

We stayed at this hotel for an event in Irvine. The hotel is in a business area and on the weekends everything is closed. The restaurant in the hotel isn't even open for dinner on the weekends so we had to venture out and find somewhere else to eat. The morning breakfast buffet was good though. I was disappointed there... more

This hotel is in the middle of a business complex so there is pratically nothing around to walk to. The hotel is up against the 405 freeway. You will hear the road noise from the freeway unless you run your air conditioner or fan all night. Even when requesting a "quiet room", the noise comes through. The room is on... more

I used to have to travel to Morris Plains NJ for work. The Marriott there is almost exactly like this one, except their pool is indoors. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere for dining (as far as walking is concerned), so you'll need a car or taxi for that. It is well located for businesses. I really did... more

We stayed at the Irvine Marriott 6 nights for a major Highland Dance event. We enjoyed the hotel, and we barely had time to leave it. Most of our hotel stays have been leisure, dance, or medical related. This was the first time I stayed at a hotel for an event that caused me to seldom leave the building. Some... more
