I was quoted a price of $62 "after taxes" with the AAA discount, which convinced me to stop for the night at this Rodway Inn. It had been a long day of visiting the Yosemite area, so I wasn't really asking many questions to the desk person on the phone. I only knew that this property had once been a... more

The main reason I chose this motel was the location. As a former resident of Fresno, I was familiar with its location - a somewhat central portion of the city (Herndon/Blackstone) with convenient access to Highway 41, River Park shopping center, and several restaurants. The motel itself was basic - but adequate. The exterior is very concrete because the motel... more

I stayed there for the weekend with several families as we were in town for a soccer tournament. I must say, it was far better than I expected. This is obviously not a top level boutique hotel, but we had a great stay. The rooms were perfectly clean and totally adequate. Things like the bathrooms were above average - for... more

Basic. There were no frills in the room I stayed in, but it was clean. The hot tub was out of order while we were there but the pool was open and appeared well-kept. The continental breakfast had more variety than some I have seen and it was good enough to satisfy my picky kid and my picky self on... more

My one-night stay in this room was part of an organized bus tour embarking for Yosemite National Park the next day, which was on the President's Day weekend. The room on the third floor was basic, clean and comfortable enough to get a night's sleep (I am generally not overly nitpicky about a room, unless it is a complete mess).... more

I haven't stayed at this RED ROOF for a long period of time since the rooms were not in good standard but with the new ownership that took over the place is GREAT! they've remodeled most of the rooms with new carpets, mattress, new comforters, and etc. I'm very happy that I stopped there. The rate is not bad for... more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. On the second night I was woke up at 4am by someone banging on the door. I was half awake when I went to answer the door and found the security guard was trying to remove a screen and open the window because I didnt answer the door right away . Seems... more

This place is infested with bed bugs!! No joke we confirmed this after we were subjected to them. Silly us we didn't know what they were... Travel companion knew but didn't know what the protocol was. Hotel was supposed to inform us that all bags, clothing needed to be cleaned or sealed for 2 weeks to prevent them being carried... more

Although the lobby was nice, our room was a problem. The first night we stayed in a room near the pool. The pool was to be closed at 10 PM but at 2 AM, a pool party was going on. No sleep! Our second night, our reservation was lost. So we put in dirty room in the smoking section, complete... more

this place looks a lot better from the outside than from the inside. our room was not in good shape. the beds, the sheets and the carpet looked really old. if you only stay one night and your eyes are closed most of the time it's probably just about ok. more
