This is a rustic-looking place on the outside, and the inside is very warm and cozy. The manager adds a lot of nice touches to the decor. It was September and she had started putting out autumn colors. She also has a lovely garden in the front and back full of flowers. The breakfasts were awesome; we had huevos rancheros... more

We stayed at the Country Inn last week for 3 nights, Sept 7-10, 2008. Nine years ago, my husband & I had stayed at a three bedrooms house in Little River called "Sea Stack" . We had hardly stayed-in to enjoy the "Afar" ocean view. This time, travel with next door neighbors, I had decided to try out the Country... more

We had never stayed in a B&B and were not quite sure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the Country Inn. The Inn is located right on Highway 1, about two blocks from the main downtown area and North Coast Brewery, where we had dinner and walked back (great beer!). We stayed in “Granny’s Attic” which had... more

Pros: Very clean. Friendly hostess. Breakfast quality was best of trip. Fees were extremely reasonable. Room was spacious. Con: Breakfast was slightly skimpy. We did not need it but there is no A/C. Bathroom is somewhat small but very functional. more

We were two couples and both were most happy with our accommodations. We stayed in the Summertime room which had a king sized bed. It was so comfortable that I am now unhappy with my own mattress. The other couple stayed in Spring Promise and were also very comfortable. Our room was large and airy. The only drawback was that... more

I honestly haven't stayed there (but was forced to put in a date). I made a reservation two months in advance. Their website stated they have a 7 day cancellation policy - no fee was mentioned. I confirmed the cancellation policy with her over the phone at the time of booking and understood her to say that a fee would... more

When we arrived at the Inn, the owner was not present. We saw an envelope with our name on it to help ourselves into the Inn. There was also a letter in the envelope stating to sign up for breakfast if we chose to do so. We had the option of having breakfast at either 8:30 am or 9:15 am... more

We have 4 kids (ages 18 - 6) so we always need extra room for a comfortable trip. The Country Inn was inexpensive enough that we could stay there in three rooms for the price of 2 cheap motel rooms with a delicious breakfast to boot! The staff was friendly and the rooms were neat and clean. Great location in... more

My husband and I stayed at the Country Inn when travelling the coastal road from San Francisco to Seattle. As mentioned by previous reviewers we arrived to an envelope with the key to our room and a note to say that the owner would be returning later and would discuss breakfast then - not a problem. We dropped off our... more
