We stayed here 2 nights and this place definitely has some pluses and minuses. CONS: The carpet in the room we stayed in was filthy. Although it looked like it was being vacuumed regularly, it had multiple spots where it looked like people had spilled liquids and it had never been properly cleaned. Our baby was crawling around on the... more

We stayed at the Burton Inn on our way down the Pacific coast highway and it was great. A lovely cheese and wine reception where we met interesting guests and a chat with the owner. We had great fun with 'Sophie' the little white dog who tries to steal your nibbles and cheese! Cambria is a cozy little town and... more

We loved the Burton Inn. Our suite was very large and comfortable. The evening wine, crackers and cheese were delicious and a great way to get to know our friendly hosts and other guests. The Inn is located in the east village, just steps from very unique shopping and outstanding restaurants. We didn't move our car our whole 2 1/2... more

We loved everything !! From the wine in the evening to the room itself. The beds and the bathroom were the best out of all the places we stayed in during our 3 weeks trip. The room was great too, a huge king bed and lots of space. The inn is great , but it's Terri the owner who makes... more

This was our 2nd time staying at the Burton Inn. The first time was in 2004. The property was as I remembered it - clean with superb and friendly service. The one thing I had forgotten was the nightly wine for guests. What a treat! Last time it was just the two of us, but this time we had our... more

Our room was cozy and clean. Some things need updating but overall, very cute. Breakfast was awesome, more than a traditional continental breakfast. Everything was in walking distance. We brought our four month old baby and were a little concerned that it wouldn't be family friendly but everyone was really warm and accomodating. FYI - there is no cell phone... more

This review is long over-due...I stayed at the Burton Inn several times for a little holiday from LA. Such a wonderfaul place, staff, surroundings and Turbo too. It's been a few years since I have been but I do still speak of the experience to friends. It's on my list of things I miss...and to do again! The rooms are... more

We have used this wonderful "home away from home" on at least five occasions. I would not stay at any other facility in Cambria. One hears all about Moonstone Beach and I have stayed there twice before discovering this gem. There is no comparison. The rooms are suites, large and beautifully appointed. One can walk to any number of restaurants... more

My sister and I took a long and needed vacation after our mother's death and we flew into Phoenix and traveled up the California coast to San Fran on a budget.....We already had a room booked in a motel in Cambria and when we arrived there was a note that said Back Later...so we went into town. We were so... more
