Expected a old traditional hotel and decor as you entered truly fitted description . My room although clean needed new bathroom equipment and new beds . Tea facilities were good .Staff were very helpfull and meals of good standard . Would return when redecorated . more

Found the room spacious clean and comfortable in the hotel itself. Food was to a high standard for breakfast and evening meals. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay and would go back again. more

Just spent a week in this Hotel and found the rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming right from the start. Really bad and old fashioned!!! Staff were very unhelpful apart from Cilla on reception who was excellent! The choice of bar food is rubbish you can either have sandwiches, baquettes or rolls so if you dont like bread your stuffed...oh apart from a choice of Jacket Potatoes (more carbs!!!) Arrived after having a very tiring journey. The only thing that made us stay the night was that we had booked in advance taking recommendations from the Hotel web site, the bed and carpet in the bedroom was clean.
