First time at this hotel, and chose it because of it's close proximity to Windsor. Booked it through Tesco clubcard vouchers. On arrival you could see it had been recently refurbished and despite it being on the main A4, this didn;t seem too much of a problem. Room, while not the biggest was clean and perfectly adequate. As the title... more

Stayed in this hotel for one night with my fiance, the room was ok but very small for two people, the main problem with this place was the staff at the main reception, twice during our stay the swipe card key failed to work so i took it back to the receptionist who seemed to have a real problem helping... more

I arrived very early (11am) and whist the room was not ready the receptionist checked with house keeping and told me that it would be available in 30 mins, which it was. The room was on the top floor and was bright and cool (even though the reception was very hot) with a recently refurbished bathroom. We didnt eat at... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to take in a wedding in the area. My husband travels frequently on business and this is the hotel he uses so I had no hesitation in booking it. First impressions were that the room was decorated to an excellent standard. I believe they are recently refurbished and they have done a... more

I stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding, and was very pleased with my stay. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was helpfull and cheerfull! We were given directions to our room, which was clean, spacious and had a lovely view over the River Thames and a small balcony to sit on. The bed... more

We have just returned from a 2 night special stay at this hotel and overall was not too bad. The evening meal in the Blue River Cafe which was incuded in the price of the stay was definately the highlight of the stay.. The meal and service was first class. The club room we were put in was on the top... more

The room (106) was very big, with a view of the thames and all mod cons: digital tv, sofa and chairs, more electrical sockets than you could reasonably use, even a bath robe. Surprisingly, though, no phone. Reception was unsure why this was, but offered to move me to a room that had a phone, but as the other room... more

This hotel is in a nice old building, overlooking the Thames, near the Maidenhead bridge. It has a nice bar and restaurant and it has the trappings of being a lovely hotel, but there are quite a few drawbacks. One was my room was terribly noisy for two reasons: 1) rooms facing the road have bad insulation (the windows does... more

I booked here for a weekend away with my boyfriend for his birthday. It was a lovely hot sunny weekend, so the fact that the hotel is located right on the River Thames seemed perfect. Our room was very nice, modern, clean and comfortable with a big plamsa TV and a handy iron. However there was no door on the... more

Me and my fiance just spent a long weekend at The Riviera Hotel and we absolutley loved our stay. We booked a Leisure Break which meant we had a club room (which I upgraded to a premier club for the river view), wine and chocs waiting in the room when we arrived, a gorgeous 3 course dinner friday night, breakfast... more
