Went with three girlfriends in 2006. Loved the place. the rooftop breakfast was beautiful and delicious. our room was clean and spacious. beds were decent. not super comfortable but ok. the bathroom was clean but tiny. more

It was amazing, some friends in Ambato, Ecuador gave the phone number, I can rest and enjoy of a relaxing steam bath and a healthy breakfast and people is really kind and friendly and I hope I can return in a soon future more

Plantas y Blanco is a clean and comfortable hostal offering outstanding value for the money. The rooms are simple but well-kept, the staff is helpful, the rooftop restaurant is excellent, and other guests I met there (from around the world) were very friendly. Internet access is available and free. All this and a private room for $6.75 US per night... more
