We just spent four nights in the Madero which we used as a base for touring the top BA sights- Microcento, Recoleta, San Telmo, La Boca. These are all witin walking distance, so the hotel is perfectly located. The Puerto Madero is a wonderful rehabilitation/new development are, all flashy and new but not without a soul. However, if you want... more

We just spent 3 nights in a superior room, very good value as being about half the price of the equivalent "downtown" area. Loved the Puerto Madero renovated docks area, great restaurants within walking distance; downside you MUST take taxis (cheap if slow) to go anywhere! Very comfortable gorgeous room; special praises for the conceirges Sebatstian and Santiago who suggested... more

We booked this at the last minute using the wotif website and were pleased to find a lovely clean, fresh, modern hotel. I usually prefer to stay in charming, boutique hotels when I'm on holiday rather than these business-style hotels but we had to change hotels suddenly and didn't have much choice. It was £150 per night which was more... more

This is the Fourth time that I stay in this hotel when I go to Buenos Aires! I can tell you that this is THE HOTEL!! The room is very nice, big, more than 45m2. Wonderful breakfast, nice staff. The area around the hotel is new and quiet. Nice restaurants nearby. If you like sushi, you must go to SUSHI... more

We stayed at the Hotel Madero for 3 nights and would highly recommend the hotel. Located in the Port Madero area, great spot out of the city for relaxing with many great restaurants within walking distance. An easy and cheap taxi ride to any where in Buneos Aires. We lucked out and stayed in one of the newly updated rooms,... more

Beautiful and modern hotel, though it's a little noisy. The rooms are very nice and the room service is great; the staff is also very friendly, but my complain is about the location: it's in Puerto Madero, but a little far from the more popular restaurants and other neighbourhoods. it's not a problem considering the very cheap taxi fares, but... more

I spent the weekend at the Madero, and everything was great, the room was big and comfortable, the shower was great and the staff was nice and helpful. When I arrived my key wasn't working the hotel staff fixed in few minutes and they all were polite. I ate two times at their restaurant, Red, the food was well done... more

The hotel and the room were quite attractive. Our room was large and the bed very comfortbale. The hotel is located at the south end of Puerto Madero, and the area is still developing. We very much enjoyed the hotel, with our only complaints being the location (though the area will become more populated over time) and that the shower... more

The hotel is in a lovely area, close to most scenic, tourist attractions. The staff and service was excellent. The hotel reminded me of the W hotels in NY! The next time I visit Buenos Aires, I will stay in the Recolata area which is closer to the restaurants and bar scene but for my first trip to BA -... more
