Stayed at Garden Court Eastgate recently, for the 3rd time in the past 5 years. On my first stay the hotel was a 'Holiday Inn Garden Court', and on the last two it has been the Garden Court, without the Holiday Inn affiliation. We stayed at the Garden Court for one night only, on our way from the UK to Zambia. The hotel rooms are shabby, you wouldn't dare walking barefeet on the carpet. It seems that no refurbishment or update has been carried out since the Eighties. The pub in the hotel is also dodgy and they kept serving people who were... more
