Okay, first, getting there: If you can, fly into Samara and the hotel will pick you up. In the "Green season" the roads (huge potholes that will threaten to eat your car) are horrific and a 10 KM trip could take you 40 minutes. Seriously. When you are greeted with cold towels after a quick two hour drive(country roads), it sparks your interest. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.
