Myself, my wife and our two children (ages 7 and 10) had a fabulous one week stay at the Flamingo Beach Resort. We took a chance on Flamingo Beach with a lot of mixed reviews and thought we would be ok, but we were wrong. We get there and there is TONS of construction going on. The hotel is under construcion. This caused three problems for us. One, it is noisy (jackhammers, saws, trucks, pounding, etc) all day long. This doesn't make laying out by the pool very relaxing.
