This place is decent enough, but I'm really sensitive to noise and it is a little close to the highway and you can hear it from your room even with the AC cranked up. if that doesn't bother you, its a great place to stay if you arrive late and want to stay in Liberia before you set off on... more

Definitely this hotel is the best in Liberia. It is very conveniently located just 10 min from the airport and withing walking distance from the city center. The rooms are really original and colorful, very nicely decorated. Everything is very clean. The bed is large and comfortable and has a bunch of pillows on it instead of just 2. My... more

I absolutely loved this place. Couldn't find anything wrong with it at all. I stopped here overnight after crossing the border completely exhausted from Nicaragua, and had a plane to catch early next morning. The hotel is really well designed: beautiful colors everywhere (every room comes with a different color), comfy large beds, spacious zen-like rooms, lovely clean bathrooms with... more

This place is an excellent choice and the owner Marianna is not only intelligent, Texas educated at A&M, but knowledgeable in what international travelers need. Helpful beyond necessary and a gem of a human being. Straight forward and honest. The rate is most reasonable with wonderful breakfast included and transport to the airport as well. She is also the delghiful... more

Hello everyone, my name is Robert MacEwan and this is my very first review on tripadvisor.com. We've just touched down in Costa Rica last night. We stayed with the El Punto B&B, this is my review. Amazing place. The people and the hotel are wonderful. It is truly beautiful here. The owner, Mariana, is kind and gracious. She will help... more

We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was wonderful. The people working there were so nice and it is close to everything (including the airport). We stayed in the blue room for one night. It was so nice. The AC was great. The water pressure was wonderful. We even has an Iguana on... more

We picked this hotel because it was close to the Liberia airport at the end of our honeymoon. Let me tell you that had there been more things to do in Liberia, we would have booked for longer!! We adored this hotel! The air conditioning was a bonus, the breakfast delicious and the rooms very unique. We loved the loft... more

Rooms are OK. The AC works good. We are a family of four, they had beds for all of us. There was no one in the reception area who spoke English. I had a hard time communicating. Breakfast was not good. The only thing available was bread and scrambled egg, which was not cooked properly. They don't have any extra... more

Now that Liberia is becoming a popular portal in Costa Rica the problem is where to stay on the night in/night out. El Punto will fill all your needs. It's hip, clean and fun. Next door the new shopping center has a great grocery store, ice cream shop and a couple of nice restaurants. (be daring, go the the Peruvian;... more

El Punto hotel was our last stop on a trip through Costa Rica. We chose this hotel because it was convenient for our early morning flight. The hotel did meet our expectation of convenience. It was located literally less than 100m from the main intersection in Liberia (Hwy 21 and Inter-American Highway 1, I think). Upon our arrival there was... more
