Beautiful view out of the large sliding glass door on the front of our room/cabin! The room itself was pleasant, it had two double beds - not queen or king, with a cathedral ceiling with exposed rafters. The "front porch" of the room was a great place to sit and watch the volcano. This hotel has the WORST service, It was like pulling teeth to get the staff to help you with ANYTHING. I loved the hotel, we stayed in a superior cabin and I have to say they are very nice, and the view is just amazing. The resort was nice. The grounds were very nice and the food was good. We stayed in a standard bungalow. It wasn't the best. I didn't get a chance to see a better bungalow, but the one we had didn't have they best beds or cover. It was okay. The hot springs pool was not all that. more

We could not believe how close this resort is to the Arenal Volcano. Every cabin has a perfect view of the volcano. The grounds are meticulously kept and it is like staying in a botanical garden.
