I stayed at the Microtel in Gardendale, AL for the SWAC. The hotel was very nice. The beds were very comfortabel and the staff was nice and friendly. We stayed here in May, 2005, and found it to be a comfortable motel. Our room was clean and everthing worked fine. The only negative was the night clerk was a bit rude to us when we called for directions( The internet maps were way off!). The room was very reasonably priced. You could certainly do worse! more
