I'm afraid this ryokan is overrated, to the point where it's barely recognizable. It's not particularly cheap. The onsen (public bath) that everyone touts isn't awfully inviting or attractive. What a find! After the hoardes of day tourists leave this tiny island, relaxing at the Miyajima Morinoyado was perfect! Spacious rooms (ours was Japanese style with tatami mats) and very clean.
