The room was stuffy...they came the air off in between guests obviously...probably to save on electricity, but that means when you walk in it's stuffy and musky! A little air would have helped. When I booked my room, I requested non-smoking. They put me on the 3rd floor. The room was non-smoking, but the 3rd floor was not and the hallways reeked of smoke. The smell was horrible. In addition, there were no laptop connections in the rooms. You had to sit in the lobby like a transient to use the wireless connection.... more

Stayed on business for 2 nights arriving late in the evening. The place is fairly basic and is located at the intersection of two major freeways. My friend and I decided to take a quick trip to Austin. I saw that the Country Inn and Suites had mostly favorable reviews so I decided to give it a chance. We had a great stay. My manager likes Country Inn & Suites and was happy to find the Austin North location. The hotel in general was in good shape and the staff was nice, but his room was not clean at all. Moved to Hampton in the next morning. more

I visit my daughter at UT in Austin very often and found this hotel very nice and convienient. It is clean, friendly with plenty of amenities. I would recommend to check it out. more
