We happened across this resort while researching tea plantations in China. We had to go! Even after reading the reveiws on Trip Advisor which were not always favorable- mostly due to expense. This hotel is NOT open to the public - they are only open to certain expats and foreigners that pass THEIR litmus test - and of course they won't tell you if they fit their "target" criteria until you show up. fuchun is 1/2 an hour away form Hangzhou and is one of these rare places where the website's photos are actually much worse than the place itself.
